I went to the Guess shop today during my lunch break to test the fragrances for women. Guess Gold is out of stock there but I was told it is not so sweet as the other Guess perfume for women.
Oh well.
I tried Guess, the one in the pink or is it purple bottle. The color of the bottle is in between both shades.
Anyway, to me, the scent is more than the bottle, pretty though it may be.
At first spritz, the scent was too sweet. Like candy and a too sweet flower. The alcohol smell in the first few seconds was too strong. Then it settled to a soft, sweet, euphoric scent within the first hour. Not bad, I thought. But not that great either.

2 hours later, the scent evolved into a warm feminine scent that is perfect for the day. Still sweet, but with warmer notes surfacing. It smells better as the day goes on.
By the end of the day, a sweet, warm spice lingers on. Very feminine and sexy. The scent morphed into a warm, womanly fragrance that is intimate, and perfect for the night. I detected faint, woody, musky notes that grounded the scent by nightfall.
