Angel Perfume
I tried Angel perfume by Thierry Mugler in two of its incarnations. On my right hand, I spritzed on Angel Perfume, the original version. On my left, I tried Peony Angel. Same name but different bouquets for totally different effects. Yes, both are sexy and very wearable, but one is unisex while the other is oh so feminine.
Angel Perfume Review
At first spritz, the scent is a woody musk. Strong and sensual. Within the first hour, it fades to a woody warmth. The scent is delicious. Nutty, vanilla and woody with a hint of musk. Yummy and unisex.Makes sense. This is a fragrance based on yummy scents of honey and vanilla, grounded with patchouli (the musky part) and sandalwood (sensual and woody). There is chocolate and caramel blended into it, so whoever wears it smells delicious.
This one really lasts, well into the night. The vanilla, with the warm musky notes of sandalwood and patchouli linger, yet remain unobtrusive. Great for work and for play.
Peony Angel Perfume Review
At first spritz, this scent is fruity and floral. It fades quickly to a light, slightly sweet mix of fruit and wood. I thought it was plum, when actually, it is raspberry flower, mandarin flower and mimosa. An exotic blend.Over the next few hours, a light, slightl sweet fruity and woody scent lingers. It is grounded by musk, patchouli and sandalwood. It is a pleasant and feminine scent for work.
Surprisingly, it gets more feminine as the day goes on. The warm, floral and fruity scent lingers late at night.
